Join Akamai Technologies, Inc. in a 3-year Financial Development Program (AFDP) that rotates you through three one-year assignments across finance specialties, including FP&A, business line finance, and financial systems.

You’ll engage in intensive seminars, mentorship, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting while building leadership and business acumen. You’ll contribute to annual budgets, variance analyses, and data-driven insights, with strong support from program leadership and mentors.

Qualifications

• Be graduating with a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field between January - June 2027 (preferred)
• Display excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Have prior internship or work experience in financial analysis or a similar role
• Demonstrate leadership capability and initiative to learn new roles

Responsibilities

• Developing the annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and outlooks, and resource planning analysis
• Performing deep-dive variance analysis on spend areas, collaborating with our accounting team to ensure proper expense recognition
• Learning the underlying systems, tools, and reporting cadences used across the finance organization to support the business
• Providing timely financial reporting of monthly results and analysis of key variances, business drivers, metrics, and trends
• Developing new data, reports, models, and ad hoc analyses to support business needs
• Identifying process improvement opportunities, gaining support for changes, and leading implementation collaboratively with our teams
