Job summary

Guardian is offering a 2027 Summer Internship Program in New York, a paid 10-week learning experience within a global financial services company. You will gain industry knowledge through daily business interactions, projects, and exposure to senior leaders during May–August 2027.

We seek current juniors (May 2028 graduation) with finance/accounting proficiency, Excel and PowerPoint skills, and a collaborative, proactive mindset.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in finance and accounting principles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation and analysis of tax reports, workpapers, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Participate in process improvement efforts and ad hoc projects as needed.
• Learn from leaders, mentors, and team members across the organization to develop professionally.
• Understand Guardian’s purpose, values, and offerings to guide your work.
