Job summary

Guardian's 2027 Summer Internship Program is a paid 10-week learning experience in a global financial services company based in New York. You will work on daily business interactions and projects that impact the business while networking with mentors and peers across offices.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) program in Accounting and/or Finance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly close activities and account reconciliations
• Assist with agency/field related accounting processes and reporting
• Support testing and documentation of accounting controls and business processes
• Learn from leaders and mentors across the organization to develop professionally
• Build a network with other interns and across the business
• Think critically about data and information
