Job summary

Guardian's 2027 Summer Internship Program is a paid 10-week learning experience in New York, immersing you in the daily environment of a global financial services company and giving you access to projects that directly affect the business.

Interns will interact with senior leaders, gain industry knowledge, and may be considered for Guardian's Finance Leadership Development Program upon successful completion.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a BS program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
• Interest in exploring multiple areas of Finance and Risk within the organization
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Analyze monthly and quarterly financial results, provide insights on performance relative to plan and objectives
• Conduct peer benchmarking and competitive analysis to support decision-making
• Support forecasting, annual planning, and rating agency reporting through modeling and presentation development
• Learn from leaders and mentors across the organization to develop professionally
• Build a network of colleagues and engage with other interns and business areas
• Think critically about data and connect facts to business questions
