Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience in a project-based environment.
• CPA and/or MBA are a plus.
• Experience with Oracle NetSuite ERP and project accounting functionality.
• Strong experience with project accounting, job costing, and project financial analysis.
• Knowledge of government cost accounting (DCAA, FAR) and ESOPs/ERISA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of project accounting processes and financial performance analysis.
• Monitor work-in-progress, profitability, and key financial trends across projects.
• Partner with Business Unit leaders and Project Managers to improve financial understanding and results.
• Lead initiatives to improve accounting, project accounting processes, reporting, automation, and efficiency.
• Optimize NetSuite and other financial tools to support reporting and decision-making, including AI opportunities.
• Support merger and acquisition financial analyses and due diligence.
