Job summary

Real Projectives seeks a Director of Finance and Accounting to build and lead the company’s finance and accounting function. You will partner with the CEO and Fractional CFO to transform operations, implement best practices, and develop the financial infrastructure for scalable growth.

You will drive financial insights, reporting, and executive decision support, mentoring staff and expanding the team as the business evolves.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in accounting or finance
• CPA designation preferred
• Experience with forecasting, FP&A, and cash flow management desirable
• Experience leading accounting operations and financial reporting

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting and financial operations of the Company.
• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and management reports.
• Oversee AP/AR, payroll, banking relationships, and cash management.
• Develop and maintain rolling cash flow forecasts for executive decisions.
• Build annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans.
• Create financial models and perform pricing, margin, profitability analyses.
• Develop dashboards and KPIs for executive reporting.
• Partner with leadership on strategic initiatives and business decisions.
• Oversee outsourced IT services and act as liaison for tech initiatives.
• Own all financial, tax, and regulatory compliance activities.
• Oversee insurance programs, broker relationships and renewals.
