Job summary

KTA-Tator, Inc. is seeking an experienced Director of Finance and Project Accounting to lead project accounting, financial performance analysis, and system improvements.

The role partners with executives, operations, and project managers to drive financial performance and strategic decision-making. The position offers exposure to C-suite level initiatives and a pathway to senior leadership, including CFO potential, with a hybrid remote work arrangement after ramp-up at our Pittsburgh

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience in a project-based environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience with Oracle NetSuite ERP and project accounting functionality.
• CPA and/or MBA are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide meaningful financial and project performance analysis to support strategic initiatives and business decisions.
• Monitor project performance, including work-in-progress, profitability, and key financial trends.
• Collaborate with Business Unit leaders and Project Managers to improve financial understanding and results.
• Lead initiatives to improve accounting and project accounting processes, reporting, automation, and efficiency.
• Optimize NetSuite and other financial tools to support reporting and decision-making, including exploring AI opportunities.
• Support merger and acquisition analysis, due diligence, and evaluation.
