Job summary

The Blanton Museum of Art at The University of Texas at Austin is seeking a Business Office Associate to support the Finance team in payments, reimbursements, travel and procurement, and to help maintain vendor records. The role ensures efficient financial operations and compliance with university policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years clerical experience with HS diploma or GED.
• 1 year Administrative Assistant level experience with a Bachelor’s Degree.
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Customer service oriented and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Process payments, reimbursements, ProCard transactions, deposits, purchase orders and travel authorizations.
• Maintain payment processing records and update University systems.
• Ensure transaction accuracy and coding.
• Serve as a primary contact for vendors, staff and UT offices.
• Provide back-up support and participate in special projects.
