Job summary

NovAtel is seeking a Process Owner, Finance to lead the SAP S/4HANA ERP transformation and establish governance for finance process domains. You will drive future-state design, partner with business leaders, and ensure ongoing governance and continuous improvement across divisions and regions.

You will collaborate with IT, data owners, and implementation partners to realize business value from the ERP transformation and sustain process performance post-implementation.

Qualifications

• Own, transform, or govern enterprise processes in a multi-division environment.
• Translate business requirements into practical process standards and governance.
• Influence senior stakeholders and balance standardization with business needs.
• Demonstrate analytical, facilitation, and continuous improvement skills.
• Experience with finance and project governance processes including Record to Report and Project to Result.

Responsibilities

• Define, maintain, and improve enterprise-level finance process standards, policies, and controls.
• Serve as the authoritative owner for R2R and P2R process design and governance.
• Partner with peers to manage process interdependencies and enterprise alignment.
• Establish governance routines, performance monitoring, and improvement roadmaps.
• Build relationships across divisions, regions, and Global Services to support adoption.
• Collaborate with IT, data owners, and partners to ensure sustainable future-state processes.
• Approve process documentation, controls, and key design decisions impacting finance.
• Define KPIs, baselines, and drive corrective actions when targets are missed.
• Support ERP transformation activities, including design, testing, and cutover.
• Drive consistency in financial structures, governance, and management accounting.
• Act as senior business representative for SAP S/4HANA program domains.
• Drive global standardization and future-state design across regions.
