Job description

Our direct client is in the middle of a multi-year SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud transformation across North America and is looking for a SAP FICO Business Process Owner to support ongoing deployments and process standardization efforts across the business.

This is a highly visible, business-facing role focused more on finance operations and process ownership than deep SAP configuration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance within a manufacturing environment and experience working closely with ERP implementations or SAP transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Partnering with finance, operations, IT, and SAP teams to gather and validate business requirements
• Supporting process design, gap analysis, testing, training, and change management activities
• Acting as a guardian of the global ERP template while helping align business processes across sites
• Supporting finance-related data validation and ERP deployment activities during rollouts
• Helping drive process improvements and standardization across the organization

Qualifications

• Experience with cost accounting, inventory valuation, manufacturing variances, GL accounting, fixed assets, and month‑end close
• Experience with SAP FICO business processes and ERP transformation initiatives
• Experience with manufacturing operations and plant finance environments
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus

This is a long-term transformation program with future deployments planned for several years and strong potential to convert to a full‑time leadership role.
