Job summary

Dominium is seeking a full-time, on-site Finance Intern for a summer internship from June 8, 2027 to August 20, 2027. Based in Dallas, you will support Corporate Services across Accounting, Finance, Tax and IT, under the CFO, with exposure to data analytics and financial modeling.

You'll help prepare monthly financials, assist with budgets, and build basic models while gaining hands-on experience in valuation, cash flow and reporting.

Qualifications

• Must be in the process of earning a bachelor’s degree in Finance or a business-related field; or earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance or a business-related field within the previous 12 months.
• Very strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Intermediate or advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, notably Excel.
• Able to take delegated assignments and work with moderate independence.
• Must have time management skills to handle multiple projects on short deadlines.
• Ability to work with personnel at all levels in a team environment.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Power Query, and SQL is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Preparing financials for monthly and quarterly financial review meetings, property surplus cash distributions, limited partner buyouts, refinances, financial reporting and budget comparisons.
• Attending and preparing for meetings.
• Creating and maintenance of basic financial models.
• Updating unit and property workbooks.
• Assisting with the Property Data Base (PDB) Audit.
• Pulling and formatting developer cash flow summaries.
