Job Summary
Responsible for financial planning, analysis, reporting, and business intelligence across the company. Reports to the Director of Finance and drives key processes in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and operational improvement.
Responsibilities
- Drive key processes such as financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Implement best practices in FP&A, reporting, analytics technology, and methodology.
- Review financial statements and perform monthly and quarterly variance analysis including revenue, expenses, cost of sales, labor, headcount, and capital expenditures.
- Generate financial and operational reporting packages for internal and external stakeholders.
- Understand processes, objectives, and value drivers in each department; collaborate with operations, finance, and accounting leaders.
- Analyze financial and operational information to provide accurate and timely recommendations to management and executives.
- Monitor KPI reporting and performance indicators; identify opportunities for operational improvements.
- Develop commentary on analysis and reports and present to executive leadership.
- Perform ad hoc reporting, analytics, and scenario/ROI analysis for capital projects and major operational spending.
- Follow and report on market and industry trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field; MBA is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in FP&A in a high‑growth, preferably publicly traded company.
- Robust financial modeling experience and ability to construct complex financial models.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial modeling techniques.
- Knowledge of SQL Server Management Studio or willingness to learn.
- Knowledge of Cognos Finance, Cognos BI and TM1 or willingness to learn.
- High-level business analytics skills with ability to translate data into usable, presentable information.
- Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail and effective project management skills.
- Strong prioritization, organization, and execution abilities; accuracy is required.
- High intellectual curiosity, problem‑solving passion, and strong teamwork mindset.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, lift up to 25 pounds, and meet vision requirements.
