Sysco is seeking a Finance Associate to support local OpCo operations and collaborate with Sysco Business Services to resolve exceptions. The role covers deposits, petty cash, will call transactions, scanning of supporting documents, and compliance with local regulations. It is oriented toward transactional and administrative finance duties.

The position focuses on accuracy, document flow, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth financial processes and timely reporting.

Responsibilities

• Deposit handling for cash payments and local transactions at the OpCo.
• Scan backup support for checks, remittances, and customer documents.
• Manage petty cash fund and replenishments.
• Scan invoices and receive packets at the OpCo.
• Report issues to SBS processing teams and maintain quality documentation.
• Support claims submission to obtain supplier credits with QC teams.
• Maintain and report regulatory compliance (e.g., USDA, food safety).
• Handle will call transactions including employee payments.
