Job summary

Tallgrass is seeking a Director of Accounting & Finance Operations for the Power Generation unit to design, implement, and lead the finance operating model from concept through readiness. This role partners across Commercial, Operations, IT, Treasury, Tax, Legal, and Supply Chain to scale finance processes for growth.

The ideal candidate brings strong FP&A and accounting expertise, plus project leadership and systems implementation experience to build scalable, governance-driven finance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting, finance, or business transformation experience.
• Experience in energy, midstream, oil & gas, utilities, or infrastructure industries.
• Experience implementing/enhancing ERP and operational systems.
• Strong understanding of accounting and FP&A processes.
• Demonstrated success leading complex cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead Accounting and FP&A workstreams for Power Generation line of business.
• Develop the end-to-end finance operating model for Power Generation.
• Identify finance capabilities required to support new operations.
• Create implementation roadmaps and transition plans from project development into ongoing operations.
• Design SOX-compliant processes and internal controls.
• Build close calendars and reporting packages.
