Job summary

Glenmeadow is seeking a Financial Operations Specialist to support its financial operations through accurate processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting functions. Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of related experience in an accounting environment.
• Experience with financial management systems, payroll systems, and spreadsheets (Yardi/ADP preferred).
• Associate’s degree in accounting, bookkeeping or related field.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially with a senior population.

Responsibilities

• Verifies and posts details of business transactions using the financial management system per established Glenmeadow procedures.
• Accounts Payable: process invoices, review PO’s, prepare vouchers, ensure timely payment.
• Accounts Receivable: prepare resident invoices, post and reconcile payments, resolve discrepancies.
• Payroll / HR: coordinate payroll changes in HR/Payroll systems and support payroll processing.
• Prepare and post routine journal entries; reconcile general ledger accounts and monitor activity.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key financial metrics; analyze data for trends and improvements.
• Provide professional, confidential service to residents, families, vendors, and staff; communicate financial information clearly.
