Job summary

Travelers is offering an internship that provides a front-row view of how finance and operations support a large marketing and communications organization. You will report to the finance manager and focus on budget, invoicing, and financial reporting while also helping marketing operations.

You will use data to derive insights, leverage AI-enabled tools to work faster, and learn directly from finance and operations leaders.

Qualifications

• Preferred GPA of 3.0 or greater.
• Pursuing or obtained a Bachelor's or Master's degree.

Responsibilities

• Support invoice processing and reconciliation
• Help maintain financial tracking and reporting documentation
• Review and validate financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Analyze spending and budget trends, and translate findings into takeaways
• Coordinate with internal partners on departmental financial activities
• Use Workfront and AI-enabled tools to improve project intake and workflow efficiency
• Track project requests, timelines, and deliverables
• Support operational reporting and data analysis
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and documentation of best practices
• Assist with quality review and maintenance of operational records and project data
• Assist planning and coordination of team events, workshops, and recognition programs
• Assist with internal communications and employee engagement activities
• Contribute to intranet content and monitor engagement metrics
