Qualifications

• Enrolled in 2- or 4-year college with accounting/finance focus and at least 1 year of coursework.
• Must be 18 years of age to work on site.
• Willing to work a standard work week.
• Basic understanding of GAAP and accounting basics.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Interest in AI/tools for finance and data analytics.
• Able to follow tasks, manage deadlines, and learn quickly.
• Highly organized with attention to detail for data entry.
• Proficient in MS Office; comfortable with collaboration tools (Teams/SharePoint).
• Some travel may be required; reliable transportation essential.

Responsibilities

• Engage in Intern Program learning, coordinate with supervisors to prioritize work.
• Learn Turner accounting processes, including construction accounting and revenue recognition.
• Follow Finance policies for reporting and confidentiality.
• Develop communication, conflict resolution, and teamwork skills.
• Participate in training, site visits, and program meetings.
• Review billing details against contracts and invoice backups.
• Validate coding of project costs and expenses against cost structures.
• Support SSO with invoice processing and vendor accounts status.
• Assist with journal entries, month-end close, and cash flow monitoring.
• Prepare ad hoc analyses and presentations for financial reviews.
• Gain exposure to AI-enabled tools and data analytics for efficiency.
