D.A. Davidson Companies seeks a detail-oriented finance/accounting specialist to work with the Operations team.

The role emphasizes daily account reconciliations, back‑office support, and ensuring data integrity across portfolio accounting and trading systems. The successful candidate will handle account openings/closings, provide cross-training support, and help generate client reports while upholding the firm’s ethics and confidentiality standards.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree and/or previous experience in Finance/Accounting.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Highly organized and detail oriented, able to manage multiple demands and priorities.
• Ability to work with a variety of personalities in a team environment.
• Ability and desire to take on additional responsibilities to support career progression.

Responsabilidades

• Support daily account reconciliation processes with various custodians.
• Open/close accounts in our portfolio accounting and trading systems, and maintain account data as needed.
• Provide backup and cross training with other Operations staff to facilitate redundancy of coverage, which may include: Facilitating the settlement of trades; Reviewing and updating security information within our portfolio accounting and trading systems; Monitoring and reconciling proxy voting records; The production and distribution of monthly/quarterly client reports.
• Adhere to all the firm’s Code of Ethics and Policies and Procedures, as well as its Team Agreement, which is a commitment to the following behaviors: Curiosity, Accountability, Candor, Awareness, Passion, Appreciation.
• Perform any other duties and special projects as necessary
