GEO Secured Services is seeking an accounting professional to manage all facility financial functions, including payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and reporting. You will analyze trends and support budgeting and cost controls. The role requires leadership and a cooperative approach in a corrections environment.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and at least three years of finance experience, with strong software skills and the ability to oversee financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain employee payroll to ensure wages are correct and timesheets are approved.
• Research, analyze and report financial data for budget, reports and management requests.
• Report finances to management and advise on resource utilization and budget assumptions.
• Make bank deposits, write checks and reconcile statements.
• Process local purchases and coordinate larger requisitions with HQ.
• Verify calculations to balance receipts, taxes, discounts and charges.
• Assist in distributing payroll checks and reports to employees and management.
• Supervise inventory accuracy in warehouse, food services, maintenance or storage areas.
• Manage office clerical staff including hiring, evaluation, training and development.
