Russell Tobin is seeking an Operations Analyst in Salt Lake City, UT to support KYC/onboarding and resolve trade and settlement issues. The role requires collaboration across teams and a focus on risk controls, process improvement, and operational efficiency.

The position offers a pay rate of $21–$23 per hour, with a start date targeted for November 2, 2026, and potential temp-to-hire based on performance and business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field preferred.
• Experience in financial services or financial operations preferred.
• Exposure to trade operations, KYC, or investment products highly preferred.
• Understanding of end-to-end trade lifecycle: execution, clearing, settlement, custody.
• Strong Excel skills: Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Familiarity with Alteryx, Tableau, Python, SQL, or RPA is highly preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support KYC and onboarding-related cases with complete and accurate information.
• Review unmatched trades, trade breaks, settlement exceptions, and operational items.
• Investigate issues and partner with internal teams to resolve exceptions.
• Monitor daily processes and follow risk controls to prevent operational breaks.
• Support processes related to various investment products (equities, fixed income, mutual funds, IRA).
• Collaborate with business, front-office, back-office, compliance, legal, and tech teams.
• Maintain documentation and adhere to procedures, controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze data and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Participate in training to learn team processes, systems, and workflows.
