Job summary

Trupanion, a leading pet insurance provider in North America, seeks a Finance Operations Analyst in the Seattle area with a hybrid work model. You will own AP, AR, Procurement, and Commission processes, drive efficiency, and support monthly and regulatory reporting.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in accounting/Finance Ops, strong Excel skills, and experience with ERP systems like Workday. This role offers a path to impact across the Finance team with monthly bonuses and stock-based compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years of accounting/finance operations experience (AP/AR/Commission).
• Experience supporting 1099 processing and state reporting (Unclaimed Property).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with Workday or other ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure AP, AR, Procurement, and Commission processes align with GAAP and run accurately.
• Calculate, validate, and process commissions based on sales data.
• Oversee AP, AR, and Commission system changes with testing and validation.
• Analyze AP, AR, and Commissions data to support decision-making.
• Lead initiatives to implement a procurement function at Trupanion.
• Partner across functions to identify and implement process improvements.
