Job summary

DurhamLearn, part of Durham County Council, seeks a Finance Officer to support financial administration, budget monitoring and purchasing. You’ll help produce financial reports, assist with funding claims and monitoring returns, and support reporting for externally funded programmes.

You’ll work with colleagues across DurhamLearn and external suppliers, maintaining accurate records and striving for timely financial processes. Hybrid working available where applicable.

Qualifications

• Level 3 financial or business-related qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience in budget monitoring and maintaining financial records.
• Experience producing financial reports and management information.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support ordering of goods and services and process financial transactions.
• Maintain accurate financial records and assist with budget monitoring.
