Job summary

MetLife’s Global Technology team is shaping the future of digital solutions, delivering architecture leadership across ERP modernization and Workday programs. The role guides target-state architectures, data patterns, and governance for finance transformation, while driving cloud-native, API-first, and AI-enabled approaches.

You’ll influence executives and partner with Finance, Data & Analytics, and security teams to realize scalable finance modernization across platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.
• 10+ years of experience in enterprise application architecture.
• 5+ years operating as a Principal Architect or Lead Architect.
• 8+ years designing and implementing large-scale ERP/Finance solutions.
• Experience leading ERP transformation programs.
• Strong Azure Cloud and enterprise integration experience.
• Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience evaluating AI/GenAI opportunities within governed enterprise architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Finance Modernization and ERP Transformation Program architecture.
• Define target-state architectures for Workday Financials and related platforms.
• Drive governance, standards, and pattern consistency across ERP workstreams.
• Translate strategic objectives into architecture roadmaps and plans.
• Provide guidance on Workday capabilities, integration patterns, and security.
