Nbutexas, a respected international manufacturer, seeks a Finance Manager for The Americas to lead US financial operations from Tucson, AZ. The role offers strategic impact in a growing organization with global reach and cross-border collaboration.

You will oversee US GAAP reporting, cost and inventory accounting, and close processes, partnering with manufacturing and corporate teams while driving process improvements and scalable finance solutions in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• CPA or equivalent preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience with senior finance responsibilities.
• Advanced knowledge of cost and inventory accounting and manufacturing finance.
• Experience with US GAAP and ERP systems; Excel proficiency.
• Manufacturing environment experience, preferably steel, is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial operations for the US entity with accurate reporting under US GAAP.
• Oversee cost accounting, inventory management, and project/job accounting.
• Manage cash flow, treasury, and banking relationships.
• Analyze variances, profitability, and operational performance.
• Partner with US and international teams to drive performance improvements.
• Coordinate audits, tax compliance, and internal controls.
• Drive process improvements and scalable finance solutions for global growth.

Finance Manager Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA or equivalent preferred
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience with senior finance responsibilities
• Advanced knowledge of cost accounting, inventory accounting, and manufacturing finance
• Strong experience preparing monthly financial statements and managing close processes
• Experience with US GAAP and compliance
• Proficiency with ERP systems (Xero, MS Dynamics) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Previous work in a manufacturing environment -preferably steel
• Ability to work independently across international time zones and manage priorities

Finance Manager Preferred Background & Skills

• Experience in heavy industrial manufacturing, mining, or mining services
• Experience with multi-entity or multinational organizations and ERP implementation
• Familiarity with foreign currency accounting, intercompany transactions, and external audits
• Strong communication and business partnering abilities
• Spanish language skills and advantage

Finance Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Lead financial operations for the US entity, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with US GAAP
• Manage all aspects of cost accounting, inventory management, and project/job accounting
• Oversee cash flow, treasury functions, and banking relationships
• Analyze and monitor manufacturing variances, profitability, and operational performance
• Partner with US and international teams—including manufacturing and operations—to drive performance improvements and support business decision-making
• Coordinate annual audits, support tax compliance, and maintain a strong internal control environment
• Contribute to process improvement, automation initiatives, and scalable finance solutions for ongoing global growth
