Job summary

SEG Solar, Inc. in Houston, TX seeks a Finance Manager to steer the financial health of our nationwide manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management within manufacturing.
  • Strong proficiency in financial analysis, corporate finance, and cost accounting.
  • Experience managing balance sheets and preparing financial plans.
  • Knowledge of US financial regulations and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor financial plans and budgets aligned with the company’s strategic goals.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis and reporting to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization.
  • Manage corporate finance activities including capital structure, investment analysis, and risk management.
  • Oversee balance sheet management and ensure accuracy in financial statements and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead cost accounting initiatives to evaluate production costs and improve manufacturing efficiency.
  • Collaborate with business units to provide financial insights that support operational and strategic decisions.
  • Supervise and mentor finance team members to enhance their skills and ensure high-quality financial operations.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and timely reporting.

The Finance Manager will play a pivotal role in steering the financial health and strategic direction of our manufacturing operations across the United States. This position is responsible for overseeing all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, to ensure alignment with corporate objectives and sustainable growth. The Finance Manager will lead the preparation and interpretation of financial statements, manage balance sheets, and implement cost accounting practices to optimize operational efficiency. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, this role will provide critical insights and recommendations to support decision-making and long-term financial planning. Ultimately, the Finance Manager will ensure robust financial management practices that drive profitability while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management within the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong proficiency in financial analysis, corporate finance, and cost accounting principles.
  • Demonstrated experience managing balance sheets and preparing comprehensive financial plans.
