Job summary

Rainforest Action Network is seeking a Finance Manager to lead financial operations and collaborate across teams to ensure effective resource allocation. In this role, you will support budgeting, financial reporting, and donor grant management while fostering relationships within the nonprofit.

The ideal candidate will have 5–7+ years of experience in nonprofit finance, a strong grasp of financial concepts, and the ability to communicate effectively with non-finance staff.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of nonprofit finance or accounting experience, preferably in a grant-funded environment.
• Experience managing foundation, government, and international donor grants.
• Strong financial analysis, accounting, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support organizational budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Manage financial administration for foundation, government, and international donor grants.
• Partner closely with the Assistant Controller to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
