Job summary

Placements24 is partnering with a well‑established manufacturing firm in the Eastern Cape to recruit a Financial Manager. Based in East London with a hybrid work model, you will lead the finance function, oversee reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow, and provide strategic insight to executive leadership.

You will manage a finance team, liaise with auditors and advisors, ensure statutory and tax compliance, and drive process improvements to support growth and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Professional accounting qualification (CA(SA), ACCA or CIMA) essential.
• 7+ years progressive financial management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting, payroll, and treasury functions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Ensure robust internal controls and compliance with IFRS and SA tax laws.
• Guide cash flow management and working capital optimization.
• Provide strategic financial insights to senior management.
