Placements24 is seeking a diligent Financial Analyst to join a prominent FMCG organization in Queenstown (Eastern Cape, ZA). The role is hybrid, focusing on financial planning, forecasting, budgeting and insightful analysis to support strategic decisions across departments.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years in financial analysis, strong modeling skills, and proficiency in Excel and ERP systems like SAP or Oracle. Collaboration with finance, operations, and management teams is key.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Finance or related field.
• CIMA/ACCA certification is a plus.
• 3-5 years of financial analysis experience in FMCG or related sector.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Analyze financial performance, identify variances, and provide explanations and recommendations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.
• Support operational teams with financial insights and performance tracking.
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support business initiatives and strategic decisions.
• Monitor key financial metrics and KPIs, identifying trends and risks.
• Assist in preparation of financial presentations for senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Contribute to process improvements within the finance function.
• Support cost analysis and profitability initiatives in FMCG operations.
