City of Hope Chicago is seeking a Finance Manager (Healthcare Analytics) to partner with executive and clinical leadership across City of Hope Chicago's Comprehensive Cancer and Research Center and regional outpatient centers.
The role develops business cases, financial analyses, and strategic recommendations that support informed decision-making, operational efficiency, and achievement of organizational financial goals.

The Finance Manager (Healthcare Analytics) serves as a strategic financial leader partnering closely with executive leadership, department leaders, and clinical leadership across City of Hope Chicago, including the Comprehensive Cancer and Research Center and regional outpatient care centers. This role is responsible for developing business cases, financial analyses, and strategic recommendations that support informed decision‑making, operational efficiency, and achievement of organizational financial goals.
Provide financial and business decision support for City of Hope Chicago operations. Lead financial reporting and analytical efforts for the Chicago market. Drive continuous improvement in business analytics by enhancing reporting accuracy and addressing complex analytical challenges. Deliver comprehensive financial analysis related to Revenue, Pricing, Retention and Reimbursement Analyze business unit operations to identify opportunities related to process improvement, pricing strategies, profitability enhancement, and regulatory compliance. Partner with Corporate FP&A and regional Finance teams to enhance reporting capabilities, financial insights, and decision‑support tools. Collaborate with operational and clinical leaders to support strategic planning, growth initiatives, and financial stewardship.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Accounting, or a related field required.
Minimum of five (5) years of finance analyst experience in a hospital, healthcare, manufacturing, or similar environment.
Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and operational analytics.
Master's degree in Finance, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
CPA preferred.
Minimum of two (2) years in a manager‑level role or senior finance/accounting position.
Experience working within a healthcare environment strongly preferred.
Experience with Strata Decision Technology financial planning and analytics platform preferred.
Proven experience managing projects from design through implementation using formal project management methodologies. Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex financial information to diverse audiences. Ability to manage competing priorities and multiple projects simultaneously. Strong relationship‑building skills with internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in achieving organizational objectives. Advanced analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a proven ability to translate data into actionable insights. Strong business acumen and ability to support executive‑level decision‑making.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required. Experience with Tableau, EPSi, Qlik Sense, Epic, or similar business intelligence and data visualization tools required. Experience with Strata Decision Technology financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management tools preferred.
