Job summary

KBR is seeking a Finance Manager to lead financial planning, reporting, and compliance for government contracts in the Virginia area. The position supports high-stakes defense and space programs, with a path to Trinzic after spin-off.

You will manage cost control, budgets, and CLIN data while coordinating with PMs and COTRs. The role requires TS/SCI clearance, a finance-related degree, and extensive experience in government contracting, with strong Excel skills and cross-functional

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting; or HS diploma with 10 years’ related experience.
• 5+ years of experience supporting U.S. Government contracts, preferably within the IC.
• Ability to apply financial, budgetary and accounting principles to track/analyze financial data and produce reports.
• Experience monitoring financial compliance to customer requirements and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cost control and financial reports.
• Ensure adherence to customer requirements and budgets.
• Develop and maintain CLIN database for contract purchases.
• Review cash requirements and plan for future procurement.
• Improve cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
• Reconcile and approve vendor invoices.
• Forecast option-year budgets.
