Job summary

Hounen Solar America Inc. is hiring a Finance Manager to lead core accounting operations, including general ledger, AR and AP. Reporting to the VP Finance, you will own monthly close, financial reporting and annual audits, while building scalable controls and a team.

This hands‑on leadership role in a manufacturing setting requires managing GL integrity, reconciliations, and cross‑functional collaboration with Operations and Cost Accounting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 5+ years in manufacturing.
• 2+ years supervising accounting staff across GL, AR and AP.
• Hands‑on ownership of month‑end close and GL in a US GAAP environment.
• Experience supporting external audits.

Responsibilities

• Own the full‑cycle general ledger including entries, accruals and inventory accounting.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end close with cross‑functional coordination.
• Review reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, analyses and schedules.
• Maintain chart of accounts and GL integrity across entities.
• Serve as primary contact for external audit and PBC schedules.
• Lead AR team: invoicing, cash application, collections and AR aging.
• Lead AP team: procure‑to‑pay, vendor setup and payments.
• Supervise and develop AR, AP and GL staff; implement internal controls.
• Drive process improvements and ERP/AP automation initiatives.
