Manufacturing Accounting Manager — SAP FICO & GAAP

Job summary

HR On Demand seeks an experienced Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting for our growing U.S. operations, coordinating with the Taiwan headquarters to establish strong practices as the facility scales.

You will manage month-end and year-end closes, general ledger, AP/AR, cost accounting for manufacturing, budgeting, audits, and internal controls in alignment with U.S. GAAP, while developing staff and partnering with operations, procurement, and HR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with 2+ years in supervision.
• Hands-on experience with SAP FICO module.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge and close process experience.
• CPA or CPA-track strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end and year-end close processes with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.
• Own cost accounting for manufacturing, including standard costing and variance analysis.
• Prepare financial reports and coordinate with Taiwan HQ finance team.
• Maintain internal controls and accounting policies compliant with US GAAP.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Coordinate external audits and tax filings with outside firms.
• Develop accounting staff as the team grows.
• Collaborate with operations, procurement, and HR on cost centers and payroll-related accounting.
