Job summary

Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD) is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee financial planning, analysis, and control for a business unit. The role involves partnering with functional leaders and driving performance through accurate reporting and insights.

Responsibilities include month-end close, variance analysis, and supporting strategic initiatives such as M&A diligence and integration activities. A CPA/MBA is preferred; SAP/Hyperion/Power BI experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
5+ years progressive experience in finance and accounting roles.
Strong understanding of FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Proficient Excel skills and financial modeling experience.
Ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

Assist preparation and analysis of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans.
Provide financial business partnering to functional leaders with insights to drive performance.
Manage month-end and year-end close processes per GAAP/IFRS and policies.
Conduct variance analysis and propose corrective actions.
Oversee and optimize financial processes, systems, and internal controls.
