Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of related experience in Pulp and Paper industry or manufacturing is preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong understanding of key metrics
• Detail oriented team player who can meet deadlines, adapt quickly, work with all levels of the organization, and work independently
• Advanced skills in Excel and Hyperion SmartView
• Experience with Qlik, Power Apps (Power BI), Alteryx preferred
• Strong interpersonal, communication, computer, and team-building skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a changing environment
• Experience leading financial professionals
• Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities

Responsabilidades

• Lead the monthly financial closing process and generate, balance, review and interpret P&L and Balance Sheet reports
• Coordinate and generate all financial reports including variances analysis and narratives
• Generate and track production and operating related metrics for the mill
• Communicate monthly, quarterly and YTD results to mill and Corporate leadership
• Lead budgeting and forecasting for mill production, raw materials, labor, equipment rental, depreciation and other categories
• Analyze Mill Diagnostics, Scorecard and operational graphs to identify cost-reduction opportunities
• Prepare weekly and monthly cost reports for fiber, energy, chemicals and labor
• Lead analysis of maintenance spend and capital project variances
• Work with Mill and Division Performance Excellence teams to identify cost improvements
• Ensure adherence to accounting policies and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
• Be responsible for Industry and Government Survey reporting related to the mill
• Develop and automate reports for local management and regulators
• Support production, inventory, balance sheet, AP, tax and other corporate requests
• Review accruals and balances to ensure accuracy before close
• Develop and maintain internal controls documentation
• Coordinate inventory testing and document results
