Job summary

Smurfit Westrock is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst in Eutaw, AL to support the Plant, Business Unit, Area and Regional Leadership with budgeting, forecasting and reporting. You will partner with multiple departments, analyze profitability, and drive efficiency through data-driven insights.

The role requires 4+ years of analysis experience, a finance/accounting degree (MBA/CPA a plus), and strong Excel along with SAP/JD Edwards/Power BI style tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting; MBA or CPA is a plus.
• 4+ years of relevant analysis experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Advanced skills in Excel and multiple analytical tools (SAP, JD Edwards, Hyperion SmartView, QlikView, Power BI).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review internal and external reporting, forecasts and budgets.
• Analyze revenues, sales volumes, costs and customer profitability to support leadership.
• Interact with corporate and division functions and participate in project teams.
• Provide analytical support for manufacturing metrics and cost management.
• Track capital projects and ensure accounting controls are followed.
• Support SOX compliance and audits when required.
