Job summary

Smurfit Westrock Company in Alabama is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support internal and external reporting, forecasts, and budgets. You will analyze revenues, operating costs, and customer profitability and work with plant, BU, area, and regional leadership to improve performance.

The role requires strong Excel skills and experience with SAP, JD Edwards, Hyperion, and BI tools. You will participate in project teams, ensure accounting controls, and contribute to cost-saving initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
• MBA or CPA is a plus.
• 4+ years of relevant analysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review internal and external reporting, forecasts, and budgets.
• Analyze revenues, costs, and customer profitability across units.
• Support capital economic analysis and cross-functional projects.
• Monitor profitability and identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with regional leadership and Six Sigma teams on cost reduction.
