Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Finance Manager - Apex to provide financial leadership for the APEX organization within US Strategic Operations Finance. You will drive planning, reporting and decision-support for LBE, Plan and LRP, including month-end close activities and ad hoc analyses.

You will collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure accurate forecasting, identify risks and opportunities, and optimize financial performance.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Finance or Accounting required.
• MBA/CPA preferred.
• 7+ years progressive accounting or finance experience.
• Strong understanding of Company financial planning processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid understanding of automated accounting systems such as SAP and BPC. Power BI or other data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and reporting for APEX SG&A (Plan, LBE, LRP).
• Manage month-end close activities and allocations.
• Lead APEX LBE presentations and partner with stakeholders.
• Capture forecast adjustments through timely collaboration with business partners.
• Analyze results and identify trends, risks, opportunities and variances.
• Support ad hoc analyses and corporate planning requests.
