Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a senior finance leader to drive the Global Latest Best Estimates (LBE) planning process for the Commercial Controllership Organization. You will provide financial analysis, recommendations, and decision support to ensure accurate consolidations.

You will lead global planning, deliver executive-ready summaries, and partner across functions to align efforts and improve processes. Strong communication, leadership, and system skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in accounting or finance with progressive accounting/finance experience.
• MBA/CPA preferred for seniority and leadership.
• Strong understanding of AbbVie financial planning processes and systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead global commercial financial planning and forecasting processes with timely inputs.
• Consolidate planning materials and prepare executive-ready summaries for leadership.
• Guide cross-functional units through planning cycles and enforce timelines and assumptions.
• Partner with finance, legal, R&D, operations and global teams to align planning efforts.
• Perform system tie-outs to ensure data integrity across outputs.
• Maintain planning templates, schedules and supporting documentation.
• Analyze performance vs plan and identify variances and trends.
• Prepare clear planning materials and presentations for leadership review.
• Coach and develop finance team members and foster collaboration.
