Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance/related field.
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
• Ability to obtain required certifications within timeframes.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Advanced Excel and financial software proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial operations for housing programs including payments, budgeting, reporting, and cash flow.
• Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals; provide coaching and development.
• Ensure compliance with HUD regulations, contracts, and financial controls.
• Prepare, review, and reconcile HAP and UAP payments and related reports.
• Complete HUD reporting, financial reports, and program forecasts; manage vendor payments.
