System One in Miami, FL is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of Housing Choice Voucher programs, ensuring accurate payments, budgeting, cash flow, and regulatory compliance.

The role leads a finance team, handles HUD reporting, and coordinates with landlords and internal departments to optimize funds and performance.

You will collaborate across departments to support audits, forecast funding needs, and improve financial processes while maintaining strong controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Three to five years of progressive experience in accounting and/or finance.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management software.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support SEMAP, contractual, and organizational performance standards.
• Lead and develop a team of finance professionals with coaching and performance management.
• Supervise daily accounting and finance staff to ensure accuracy and HUD compliance.
• Manage financial operations for HCV and related housing programs.
• Monitor funding, cash flow, leasing, and budget utilization; prepare and reconcile payments and reports.
• Complete HUD reporting, financial reports, and program forecasts.
