TRIUMPHdesigns, North Wales, PA, is seeking an Assistant Controller/Finance Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations, drive accurate financial reporting, and contribute to budgeting and forecasting. The role partners with cross-functional teams to improve cost tracking and financial analysis across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a CPA/CMA or equivalent, 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, and strong knowledge of GAAP and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, GL maintenance, payroll accounting, and fixed assets.
• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely, accurate financial statements.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and financial schedules.
• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation, explanations, and process clarity.
• Assist in developing and maintaining accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support financial analysis, cost tracking, and operational improvements.
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting cycles; monitor variances and provide actionable insights.
• Help implement and optimize financial systems, tools, and reporting automation.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff; promote continuous improvement and professional development.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and relevant regulatory requirements.
