Qualifications

Summary / Objective

The Finance Manager presents financing options, vehicle service contracts, GAP coverage, tire protection, and other finance and insurance products to customers. This position supports dealership profitability and customer satisfaction through clear presentations, accurate documentation, and efficient deal processing.

The Finance Manager uses Cox Automotive systems, VinSolutions CRM, and Darwin menu presentations to manage finance operations and provide a professional customer experience.

Essential Functions

• Clearly explain pricing, interest rates, financing terms, trade values, fees, and optional protection products.
• Process customer payments and obtain required credit authorizations.
• Coordinate paperwork for efficient vehicle delivery, titling, and registration.
• Submit credit applications to lenders promptly and communicate financing decisions accurately.
• Verify that all lender stipulations are satisfied to ensure timely funding.
• Maintain strong per-vehicle retail revenue (PVR) and product penetration while prioritizing customer needs and informed decisions.
• Support trade appraisals and deal structuring in coordination with sales management.
• Assist with dealership operations when the General Manager is unavailable.
• Maintain accurate, complete finance paperwork and deal records.
• Use Cox Automotive systems, VinSolutions CRM, and Darwin to manage finance processes.
• Follow applicable federal and state requirements, lender guidelines, and dealership policies.
• Apply identity verification and Red Flags procedures to identify and help prevent fraud.
• Take a proactive, goal-oriented approach to meeting dealership objectives.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work

Full-time position

• Monday through Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with one weekday off
• Saturday: 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Sunday: Off

Additional evening and holiday hours may be required as needed.

No travel is required for this position.

Required Education and Experience

Minimum Education: High school diploma or GED.

Preferred Experience: Experience with automotive finance operations, Cox Automotive systems, VinSolutions CRM, and Darwin menu presentations.
