Job summary

Martin Automotive Group in Ontario, CA is seeking a Finance Manager to join the Subaru of Ontario sales team. You will oversee finance and insurance processes, work with the sales team, and manage deal flow.

The ideal candidate has five years of automotive sales experience including finance and insurance, strong communication and customer service, and a solid understanding of inventory control. The position offers weekly pay, 401(k), and medical benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Five years of automotive sales experience including finance and insurance.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Understanding of inventory control.
• Strong computer & phone skills (Internet, MS Outlook, CRM).

• Current, valid driver’s license and satisfactory MVR.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the condition of demonstrators monthly.
• Ensure compliance with information security programs and other laws.
• Understand and comply with federal, state and local regulations governing retail auto sales.
• Determine new and used inventory levels based on customer and market analysis.
• Develop a comprehensive menu selling process to maximize finance department profitability.
• Track portfolio with lenders.
• Review daily department paperwork for timely deal turnaround.
• Support the sales team in achieving goals.
• Demonstrate professional morals, ethics and customer service.
• Work with the sales team to enforce proper selling methods.
• Set and maintain finance department work schedule.
• Complete training as directed by management.
• Follow policies in Personnel Policy Manual and corporate policies.
• Any other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate the condition of demonstrators on a monthly basis.

• Review and inspect the flow of the department’s paperwork on a daily basis to ensure a timely turn around on all deals

• Demonstrate complete commitment to supporting the sales department in achieving its goals

• Be an example of professional morals, ethics, and excellent customer service

• Work closely with sales team on enforcement of proper selling methods

• Set and maintain finance department work schedule

• Complete all training as directed by management.

• Follow policies and procedures as set forth in the Personnel Policy Manual and other corporate policies.
