We have a vacancy to join our Finance team based at our Glenwood, IL site.

The Finance Manager will play a key role in ensuring financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and alignment with corporate policies, while driving operational and financial performance. This role functions as a key member of the leadership team and is designated as an Officer of the company.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Leadership & Operations
  • Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and applicable regulatory standards.
  • Drive financial planning and performance analysis to support business strategy and growth initiatives.
  • Implement cost control measures to optimize operational efficiency and profitability.
Corporate Governance & Compliance
  • Lead and enhance corporate governance practices, ensuring alignment with company policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, audit, and reporting obligations at federal, state and local levels.
  • Maintain and strengthen internal control frameworks (SOX-style environment preferred).
  • Serve as a key liaison with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Support Board and executive reporting requirements, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
  • Develop and manage financial risk assessment frameworks, including operational and compliance risks.
  • Establish, monitor, and continuously improve internal controls to protect company assets and ensure accuracy in reporting.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to financial processes, supply chain, and global operations.
  • Ensure business continuity considerations are embedded in financial planning.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a high-performance and accountable culture.
  • Oversee corporate accounting and ensure consistent application of accounting policies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (operations, supply chain, HR, legal) to align financial and business objectives.
  • Support talent development and succession planning within the finance function.
Strategic & Reporting Responsibilities
  • Prepare and present detailed financial reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on financial data and trends.
  • Support strategic initiatives including investments, pricing, and operational improvements.
  • Contribute to long-term financial planning and business strategy execution.
Delegation of Authority (Corporate Officer)

As a designated Officer of the Company, the Finance Manager is authorized—within established company policies, Board directives, and delegated authority limits—to:

  • Execute financial transactions, banking activities, and contractual commitments related to financial operations.
  • Approve expenditures, capital investments, and financial commitments within assigned authorization thresholds.
  • Certify financial statements, management reports, and regulatory filings for accuracy and compliance.
  • Represent the company in financial matters with external auditors, financial institutions, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate governance standards and escalate material risks or compliance issues to executive leadership.

All authority is exercised in alignment with company policies, internal controls, and applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Proven experience in a senior finance role, preferably as a Finance Manager or similar position.
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • Financial analysis and reporting
  • Corporate accounting and internal controls
  • Experience preparing financial statement and executive-level report writing.
  • Familiarity with ASC 606 highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to.
  • Effective leadership experience managing finance teams.
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-functional engagement and executive reporting.
  • CPA preferred.
