Qualifications

• Ability to execute projects efficiently with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the accounting close for the Management Reporting function—preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results for external and operational reporting.
• Provide reporting of income statement and segment data from internal and external perspectives.
• Support senior management and operating groups with financial application training and reporting.
• Contribute to department initiatives and cross-functional Finance projects focused on process efficiency, timeliness, and accuracy of financial information.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and propose enhancements.
• Participate in ad hoc projects across the Corporate Finance & Accounting organization.

A Fortune 300 global manufacturing organization headquartered in the northern suburbs of Chicago is seeking an Accountant or Senior Accountant to join its Corporate Finance & Accounting team supporting enterprise-wide management reporting, external segment financial statements, and investor relations communications.

What We're Looking For:
