Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4-7 years of accounting or finance experience.
• Strong understanding of month-end close, GL accounting, and reconciliations.
• Experience in multi-location, services-based, or healthcare environments.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, reconciliations).
• Experience working with ERP systems (Sage Intacct preferred).
• Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the monthly close process, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Review balance sheet accounts and investigate variances.
• Partner with the Accounting Manager to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Assist with quarterly and year-end close activities.
• Prepare and analyze budget vs. actuals, trends, and variance explanations.
• Support management reporting for operations and leadership.
• Assist with forecasting and financial modeling in partnership with FP&A.
• Provide ad hoc analysis to support decision-making.
• Assist in improving accounting workflows, documentation, and controls.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation.
• Help ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
• Assist with system enhancements and process automation initiatives.
• Partner with operations, payroll, and HR on financial matters.
• Work closely with the Accounting Manager on AP, expense management, and reconciliations.
• Support onboarding of new clinics or acquisitions from a finance perspective.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Operations & Close

• Support the monthly close process, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Healthcare, behavioral health, or multi-site services experience
• Experience working in a PE-backed or high-growth environment
• Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, or FP&A support
• Experience supporting audits or financial reviews
• Prior experience working alongside Controllers or Finance Directors
