Job summary

Success Matcher Recruitment partners with a precision machine shop in the Denver area. They seek a finance owner to run the books day to day and advise leadership on where every dollar goes next.

You’ll own the full finance function, manage month-end close, budgets, capex decisions and job costing with the manufacturing team, reporting to the GM and group finance leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in accounting, FP&A, investment banking or private equity.
• Hands-on experience with closes, cash management and financial reporting.
• Strong Excel skills and commercial judgment for big spending decisions.

Success Matcher is partnering with a precision machine shop in the Denver area. It makes critical parts for the aerospace, defense and space industries and belongs to a growing group of American factories. The business is scaling fast, and it needs a finance owner who can run the books day to day and also help leadership decide where every dollar goes next.

What you’ll own

• The full finance function: reporting, month-end close, journal entries, cash, wires and vendor payments
• Budgets and forecasts, with actuals tracked against plan so growth stays funded
• Capex and capital allocation decisions with the General Manager, such as new equipment and new hires
• Job costing and margins, working closely with the manufacturing team
• Reporting to the GM, with a direct line to group finance leadership

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years in accounting, FP&A, investment banking or private equity
• Grounding at a Big Four or top national accounting firm, a Fortune 100 or aerospace/defense FP&A team, or an IB/PE firm
• Hands-on experience with closes, cash management and financial reporting
• Strong Excel skills and the commercial judgment to advise on big spending decisions
• Bonus: CPA, manufacturing or startup experience, or a finance degree
