- Crusoe’s Manufacturing business is ramping quickly, with a limited history of controllership and financial planning that is still largely top-down. The Lead Analyst, FP&A is the hands-on owner of the financial engine for the MFG business: the integrated model, the planning cycles, and the KPIs leadership uses to run the business. You will work with the MFG Finance managers covering the Data centre and Spark products, and with BI, Field Services and BizOps. You will move planning from top-down to bottoms-up, tied to real business inputs and execution
- This is a senior individual-contributor role with a lot of room to shape how Manufacturing Finance operates. You will be the hands-on builder and day-to-day owner of the MFG financial model, planning cycles, and reporting, which means you’ll do the work yourself rather than direct it. At the same time, you’ll set the standards for how the team plans, models, and reports, including model architecture, data definitions, templates, and review cadence. Because MFG Finance is early in its build-out, much of what you create will become the team’s default way of working
- You’ll be the central analytical hub of the team. The DC and Spark finance leads, the MFG BI team, Field Services, BizOps Data Analytics, and Accounting will all rely on your model and your numbers, so you’ll need to be as comfortable aligning stakeholders and defending assumptions as you are in a spreadsheet. You’ll have regular visibility with Finance leadership and business executives through the MBR and other forums, and your analysis will directly inform decisions on supplier and CM engagements, cost and margin targets, and cash planning
- Build and run the consolidated MFG business unit financial model covering close support, forecast, long-range plan (LRP), budget, and scenario analysis

- Build scenario and sensitivity models for volume, supplier pricing, schedule shifts, and cost and margin targets
- Support cash flow planning and liquidity analysis for the MFG business
- Own the financial content of the Monthly Business Review (MBR), including variance analysis, commentary, and executive-ready materials
- Define, track, and report key business and finance KPIs (such as cost, margin, headcount, Opex, and utilization), and drive accountability for them with business & finance owners
- Automate reporting and keep data definitions and sources consistent
- Partner with broader FP&A team to drive end to end planning, timelines & R&Rs for Rhythm of Business (Close, Forecast, Budget and LRP)
- Partner with the DC and Spark finance leads to give them a consistent planning and reporting foundation
- Build the business-case evaluation template for supplier and contract manufacturer (CM) engagements, and support analysis of sourcing and CM decisions
- Provide finance support to Field Services and New Product Introduction (NPI), including cost tracking and program-level analysis
- Work with Accounting on close, accruals, inventory and cost accounting questions, and help strengthen controllership as the business scales
- Own the finance tools roadmap for MFG, including model architecture, data pipelines, and dashboards
