The role offers founding finance leadership, potential equity, and a path to Head of Finance as the company scales in capital-heavy markets.

Qualifikationen

• 6+ years of experience as a Controller, Accounting Manager or Head of Finance.
• Big Four background and an active CPA.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Hands-on accounting skills, including month-end close, financial reporting and cash forecasting.
• Builder mindset: ability to create process, structure and discipline.
• Bonus: startup experience or capital-intensive industries (aerospace, defense, maritime, energy, construction or manufacturing).

Success Matcher is partnering with an early-stage maritime and space company in St. Petersburg, FL that is building offshore launch infrastructure for the modern space industry. They just signed their first full-scale build contract and plan to grow a fleet over the next five years. Now they need a hands‑on accounting leader to put structure behind that growth.

What you’ll own

• AP/AR on large capital-project transactions, working with operations during the first build
• The outsourced bookkeeper and the month-end close
• Cash flow, budgeting, budget vs. actuals, and leadership and board reporting
• Upgrading the finance stack and connecting it to operational systems
• Hiring and managing your first AP/AR team member within a quarter or two

What we’re looking for
