Job summary

South Charlotte Chevrolet is seeking a Finance Manager to lead all finance and insurance activities for our customers, ensuring compliant, timely deals while maximizing dealership profitability.

You will guide clients through financing, protect products, and coordinate with lenders, sales, and service teams to deliver world-class experiences with integrity and exceptional customer care.

Qualifications

• 3+ years automotive finance and insurance experience.
• Strong sales ability and client service excellence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in finance software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Offer vehicle financing options and insurance products tailored to customer needs
• Explain aftermarket products, extended warranties, and dealership policies
• Collaborate with lenders for competitive financing while ensuring compliance
• Prepare and verify all legal documents in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Partner with Sales to ensure smooth financing referrals on all vehicle deals
• Educate customers on protection options and assist in purchasing decisions
• Manage the finance process including lender approvals, funding, and paperwork accuracy
• Monitor and maintain 100% compliance with laws and dealership policies
• Address customer questions to enhance satisfaction and retention
• Meet or exceed department sales goals and CSI targets
• Demonstrate professionalism aligned with the dealership's core values

What You'll Do

• Manage the entire finance process including lender approvals, funding, and paperwork accuracy
• Monitor and maintain 100% compliance with all applicable laws and dealership policies
• Address customer questions and concerns promptly to enhance satisfaction and retention
• Meet or exceed department sales goals and customer satisfaction targets (CSI)
• Demonstrate professionalism consistent with South Charlotte Chevrolet's core values

Who You Are

• 3+ years of automotive finance and insurance experience, preferably in dealership settings
• Strong business acumen with proven sales ability and client service excellence
• Highly organized, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional presence
• Calm under pressure and skilled at problem-solving complex finance challenges
• Self-motivated with the drive to meet deadlines and exceed goals
• Proficient in finance software (Tekion experience a plus) and Microsoft Office
• Bilingual skills and Chevrolet brand experience are advantageous but not required

Requirements

• 3+ years of automotive finance management experience
• Prior sales experience preferred
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
• Willingness to complete background check and drug screening
